In this week's report-we note the release of PhotoPro 2 and bDesign Ultra and preview Babya Logic 3.
Babya bDesign Ultra:
Babya bDesign Ultra is now available
Babya bDesign Ultra is a dramatically enhanced and completely new version of Babya's web design software.
It features a much cleaner user interface-you'll notice the E-Type like sidebar on the right of the window in the above picture.
bDesign Ultra still has the same 3 views from the old bDesign:visual designer, code view and browser view. Still opens HTML files but can now work with these formats:shtml;.shtm;.stm;.asp;.aspx;.css.
Babya bDesign Ultra features a list based property editor and a tree-view based HTML tree that's interactive. All of the above available in the new E-type like sidebar.
bDesign Ultra lets you quickly insert common web features:option buttons and text fields to make forms via the toolbar.
Babya bDesign features live web clippings-here's how it works: say, you find a map of the USA that you want to have on your page.
Just select the part of the page you want to add into your site-then copy it and paste into bDesign.
You can preview your "live clip" from within bDesign.
Also you can perform remote site editing from within bDesign, and is easy to use-click on the open URL button on the main toolbar, a window lets youtype in the address and lets you edit your site.

PhotoPro 2:

Figures:
Figures is the name of bSuite 2008's innovative spreadsheet application.
It combines:
*Babya Grid's spreadsheet and graph modes as "Figures-Spreadsheet"
*A database
*A timesheet application
Babya Logic 3 Preview:
Logic Express and Pro 2008 both come with Logic Trainer-a application designed to improve your Babya Logic compositions-it is a
simple tool for improving pitch recognition abilities and disabilities.
After doing a bit of training, you are able to make more advanced compositions with accurate
timing and tempo.
It generates random notes to simulate real time ear training sessions wherein one musician
plays a note on a piano while the other individual tries to figure out mentally what key was
sounded.
The controls are quite easy to manipulate after you spend some time tinkering with them.
We still don't know if it will work wonders (on your hearing) so try it yourself and rejoice if it does.
Tips on how to use it effectively can be found via the tool tips and training methods and tech-
niques from other sources may be helpful as well.
Aural chord analysis is possible to 3 notes and unisons are considered as one note.
You also get s ound library with high quality sounds, in MP3 & AIFF.

The audio engine used by Logic Pro 3.0 has a unlimited buffer size.
This means that latency issues don't occur in Logic Pro 3 at all-meaning that you get the best possible audio quality & system performance.
Logic Pro 3 no longer includes many standalone synths from Logic 1 and 2.
However, all these effects are available in Logic Collection 2:Classic Babya Synths & Ef-
fects.
This is a separate download-and each effect or synth must be run on its own (can be used while
Logic is open).
