We revisit some of the earlier rumors:
With not long to go until Monday's keynote, we revisit and update on several earlier rumors from previous weeks.
Babya IIS alternative:
The Babya IIS alternative is currently under development for a February/March release. It's expected that this won't be released at the Babya Expo, but a possible preview of it .
Babya video editor:
It is likely to be Wax (http://babyasystem.portal.dk3.com), and included with bSuite, but as a optional download.
Babya desktop search:
The Babya desktop search is to be included with bSuite and Babya Discoverer RSS and possibely announced at Monday's Babya Expo, and released within the next 30-60 days.
Also it will be available as a separate download.
Babya bSecure :
A couple of weeks ago, we reported on a rumor about a bSecure update. Unfortunately, a updated version is not expected to be announced at the Babya Expo, but one source said, a update may be released in about 2-3 weeks, after the expo. Still, no information about what the improvements are yet.
Babya Photo Workshop .pal file support:
Babya Photo Workshop is now not to include in the next version (v7.1), JASC .pal file support, but the v 7.1 update will be included with bSuite and has access to the other bSuite components and a updated UI and logo.
That's all rumors and reader email for today's report.
In our next report, we'll post a roundup of recent rumors related to the Babya Expo and Babya applications, and what we expect will be released/announced or previewed at the Babya Expo.
