Today's Reader Mail and Rumor Report includes some very exciting news on the long-awaited Babya desktop search software, Babya Fractal Studio and Babya Effects FX 2.

Babya Effects FX 2:
Babya Effects FX 2 is about to be released later this month, A.A. Fussy commented on this

" Babya Effects FX 2 includes a additional 34 wacky and zany image effects-some are very cool. We'll release it as part of Babya Photo Workshop 8 and XL Babya Photo Workshop 8.1."


Babya desktop search software:
Just as we go to publish today's report, only 30 minutes ago-Babya bDesktop Toolbar was intrdouced.

The slogan being used for bDesktop Toolbar is "Life is random":
You might wonder what the slogan means-A.A. Fussy explains below, what the Babya bDesktop Toolbar's slogan "Life is random" means:

Although the Babya desktop search software has not been announced yet, but it could be announced in the next 2-3 days.

Overall, we are very impressed and were suprised that it wasn't what we expected to be announced -a web toolbar that does not install any spyware, but actually was announced tonight.

Last week we mentioned that Babya bSecure was to be released early this week. Suprisingly, it was not announced at all. Apparently the release date was pushed back to March.
